Not Your Usual
NOT YOUR USUAL wine bar in the center of Copenhagen is especially cool for people who want to learn more about what's in their glass - or just love to drink wine and cocktails and want to try something different. We believe in offering a new and interesting wine and cocktail experience with delicious tapas that bring out the flavor of the wine in a super friendly and social environment.
We have more than 30 wines available at anytime in three price classes by the glass: 85 kr -105 kr -and 135 kr. We focus on unUSUAL wines from places like Moldova, Slovenia or Hungary to Lebanon, Portugal or even Denmark, but we can also pour up a glass of your usual favorite from Italy, France or Spain - so you're always sure to find something that is tailored to your UNUSUAL palette and mood! Even our cocktails are a bit UNUSUAL because we use sparkling wine as a mixer instead of tonic or soda to make them taste extra special. AND all cocktails are prices at only 95 kr. So you won't go bankrupt enjoying more than one!
NOT YOUR USUAL also offers tasting flights, educational events and much more for all levels of wine lovers. So whether or not you know virtually nothing about wine, or you consider yourself a true connoisseur, we're sure that we can teach you one or two UNUSUAL things about wine. Try our matching Tapas plates too with your wine, and see how they complement each other!
Do you LOVE wine and want to know more? Check our our WINE CLASSES, held in six week modules, or on just one Saturday afternoon. Either option is a fun and interesting way to learn about wine!

Our comprehensive and easy ordering menu offers a broad selection of wines you may already know, but it also allows you to discover wines, you wouldn't USUALLY consider. We offer at least 30 different wines by the glass, plus a selection of special bottles that you can order. We also have a few craft beers ready to order too! Our menu changes daily, so you can click on the menu button below to check out the latest offering.
If you're feeling hungry too, we'll help you find just the right tapas or charcuterie platter for your wine.
We specialize in and are becoming well known for our wine tasting flights; 3 half glasses for 145kr. We'll present you with an unUSUAL flight of red, - white - rose, or even bubbly - chosen according your taste and the mood of our Sommelier. It's a great way to try new wines without committing to a full glass!

Looking for a special cocktail that is refreshing, creative and full of flavor! We serve a great selection of cocktails using primarily sparkling wines as a base - adding ingredients such as gin, cocounut rum, elderflower, and Aperol to create a memorable drink! Our Specialty Cocktail is a Smoky Volcano where we light the rosmarin on fire and blend it with Gin and Cava.
Tastings and Events
NOT YOUR USUAL wine bar holds many public wine tastings. Try our blind tasting events on two Tuesdays every month -where we focus on making learning about wine fun. Or check our calendar for other special tasting events during each month.
In addition to our public tastings, we offer a range of UNUSUAL private tastings that you can book for your group. Why not book with us for graduation, Special Birthdays, Valentines Day or any of the other USUAL holidays?
Have you heard about our WINE CLASS school for those who want a more in depth knowledge about wine? We divide the class into three module of six weeks each. At the end of each module you get a wine diploma. Its a great gift idea for yourself or for any wine lover.

Bookings of more than 10 people should contact us via email info@notyourusual.dk and may require a deposit.
Bookings canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be debited at 250 dkk a person. Tables are held for 15 minutes after the booking time.

In the summer of 2023, Daniel and Vasile became the new owners of the bar and are always happy to welcome you with an open heart.
